In 2015, while dealing with the effects of PTSD I decided to wade into the ocean to see if it would make me feel better.
The waves calmed my nerves, the water soothed some of the aches in the body that come with stress and anxiety.
Surfing and the ocean became a new beginning and a new way to serve other veterans.
Surfing heals deep within the soul and I love sharing that gift with others.
